Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

  • Location:   Green Bay, WI
  • Position Type:   Full time - Salary

This position is for 2nd shift!

The primary focus of this position is to oversee processing of food manufacturing operations to meet company standards for food safety, quality, and production protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervision
    • Oversee the processing of the food manufacturing for the company for all departments
    • Responsible for employee’s vacation and timecards for that shift
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to production employees as needed

 

  • Production
    • Follow and enforce all safety, quality, and GMP’s
    • Follow all SOP procedures and documentation
    • Notify Maintenance Manager of any equipment malfunctions or damage
    • Monitor and record CCP’s for multiple products with thermometers and data recorders
    • Monitor concentrations of sauces using a refractometer
    • Complete employee JSA’s and training assessments
    • Monitor PPE and other related safety compliance
    • Complete pre-operational equipment inspections, SOP and GMP audits
    • Communicates staffing and equipment needs to management in timely manner
    • Scanning in production work orders daily
    • Monitor accumulation of trash in processing area and notify non-production personnel when trash needs to be picked up.
    • Additional responsibilities as required

Required Skills

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels  
  • Able to follow all HACCP policies and guidelines
  • Knowledgeable of CCPs
  • Knowledgeable of SSOPs
  • The ability to understand and monitor what task are needed to maintain quality and safety in the production process
